Born in a coastal village near Accra, Ghana, where malaria and gastrointestinal diseases were common, my family of five faced severe socioeconomic challenges. Despite this, I pursued education to make a positive impact on society.

In high school, I aspired to become a medical doctor, but when my mother suffered a stroke, my path shifted. Her illness drove me to study Biochemistry at KNUST, seeking answers and understanding. Inspired by her struggle, I delved into Biomedical Sciences. After a ten-year battle, my mother passed away in August 2023. Through these hardships, my faith remained strong, and I aimed to pursue an online master's in Clinical Microbiology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Edinburgh, followed by a PhD in Biotechnology to advance medical diagnostics.

After high school, financial pressures almost shattered my hopes. My elder sisters were overwhelmed, and I felt lost. Then, Laasfund stepped in, funding my education and providing unwavering support. They became my second family, caring for me and praying for my success. Without their aid, my academic progress would have been impossible.

The LAASFUND Scholarship transformed my life, easing financial burdens and allowing me to focus on my studies. It instilled in me a sense of responsibility and a drive to excel. I am committed to developing new skills, embracing diverse perspectives, and giving back to my community. I aspire to become a Professor and Researcher in Biomedical Sciences, contributing to innovation and mentoring others.

LAASFUND support is more than financial aid; it is a beacon of hope, enabling me to achieve my dreams and make a significant impact. Your donations can help others like me turn their aspirations into reality. Thank you, LAASFUND, for believing in me and paving the way for a brighter future

I am a 21-year-old Agricultural Engineering student in my final year at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi. My story is one of resilience, determination, and the unwavering love of a single parent.

My father raised me and my sibling alone after we lost our mother, a heart-wrenching experience that forced me to distinguish between needs and wants at a young age. These challenges shaped me into a person who values kindness, understanding, and focus.

From childhood, I dreamed of becoming a prominent figure who could positively impact many lives. My passion for Agricultural Engineering stems from a deep desire to help feed the world. I knew that by gaining knowledge in agriculture, I could contribute to making farming more efficient and less labor-intensive.

However, the financial burden of university fees loomed large over my father. This is where LAASFUND stepped in, lifting the heavy weight of school fees off his shoulders. Their support allowed me to focus entirely on my studies without the constant worry of financial strain.

I aspire to earn a PhD in Agricultural Engineering and delve into politics, combining these fields to make a global impact. My ultimate goal is to touch as many lives as possible, extending the kindness and support I've received to others in need.

My family and I are profoundly grateful to LAASFUND for their generosity. They have not only supported my education but have also inspired me to give back. When I reach the pinnacle of my career, I dream of partnering with LAASFUND to help other students achieve their dreams.

Your support can make dreams come true. It certainly did for me. Thank you for considering a donation to LAASFUND, an organization that changes lives, one student at a time.
